I used to dislike white walls (crazy I know!) but they are definitely becoming a fave choice as of late. There’s just no better backdrop to enhance a modern mix of jewel tones and metallic accents, while keeping a space feeling fresh and bright like in beauty vlogger Rae‘s beautiful southern California home.
As much as I love hardwood floors, they aren’t always completely practical especially in the kitchen or bathroom where water has a pretty good chance of damaging those perfect panels. At the same time, I love the resurgence in popularity of tiled floors, and I LOVE the idea of using both tiles and hardwood in the same space with a seamless transition like these. It’s not a completely new trend, but I’ve been noticing it pop up more and more in my feed, and I’m not mad about it one bit! More inspo after the jump 🙂
Create & Cultivate‘s studio space has #officegoals written all over it. It’s pretty much the most perfect combination of pattern, texture, and colour I have ever laid my eyes on, and you can bet I’ll be adding this to my vision board for a future Pepper B. studio. The space lends itself to collaborative working, and an easy workflow with varied workstations, and the plentiful natural light and interest for the eye complete such an inspiring space.
Guys, it’s Thursday and one day closer to the long weekend! I’ll be heading up north for a bachelorette weekend in honour of one of my bests, but before I hightail it out of the city, I wanted to let you all know there’s a bunch of new pillows in shop! We’ve added some new textures and fun details so you can add some depth and texture to your space.
If you were following along on our instagram in February, you may have noticed an influx of tropical hues, sundresses, and beach photos coming through the gram. That’s because (lucky us!) we spent 10 amazing days in Oahu, Hawaii, soaking up the sunshine, hiking, exploring and swimming all over the island, and trying as many local eats as possible. While we would have happily stayed forever, we’re back to work in Toronto, and I’ve finally put together a Oahu guide for anyone planning a trip to the island.
